Ah, what a thought
out of step my thoughts
I'm caught...
Black women need love too
why would an unloved thought even come to you...
Man is borne of woman
she held his very life in
her hands
she fed and nurture his
every need
she healed the wounds
of time
of grief...
Man is borne of a women
from the beginning she is
his GODDESSES
She is his aim and hope
to satisfy
his life is lived to
make her happy
proud,
YES PROUD
no less...BLACK WOMEN NEED LOVE TOO!
maybe it is in the misunderstanding
the cry seems so demanding,
misunderstood,
when the images are so vivid
and loud,
the TV picture pops
the super star runs a TD
waves and says "Hi, Mom!"
Man withers after the death
of his mother...
Man lives for his
woman
why would unloved thoughts even come to
you...
what was formed was formed by
woman,
his father was a dog, and he is just like him
Black women need love too!
She really didn't mean it,
your mother would not say that to you!
WHAT IS THIS LOVE?
Tears on the pillow, the posture of a man as a weeping willow
molded from a pillow of
pain, unsuitable
desires of Prince Charming,
perhaps a robot
pacing to the time of some clock...
Black women need love too,
and we know it
that is what makes our clock
tick tock,
even after being smashed by
man melting doubts of worth
as that love is torn apart...
the unhappiness of our woman's cry
is the spear in the side
a of
LIFE
seeping
away
from a hopelessly useless
ball of clay...
yes Black women need love too,
mold it carefully
so you will get what you need,
just what you are due.
